What we do
Around50 publishes independent, payout-tested reviews of online casinos accepting US
players. We rank brands on a transparent six-factor methodology, fund real test accounts
at every brand we cover, and time real withdrawals. We re-test every casino in our
rankings at least once per quarter.
We launched in 2024 to fill a gap we kept noticing in the iGaming review market: every
major site writes for a 22-year-old who follows casino streamers on Twitch. That audience
exists, but it is not where the money is. US online casino spend is dominated by players
aged 45 to 70 — a demographic with higher disposable income, longer playing sessions, and
completely different priorities (payout reliability, phone support, large readable interfaces)
than the audience our competitors optimize for. Around50 is built for that audience.
How we make money — and how we keep it from biasing our reviews
Around50 is a participant in the affiliate programs of the brands we cover. When a reader
clicks an outbound casino link on this site and signs up, the casino pays us a commission.
We disclose this on every page that includes affiliate links.
That commission is a percentage of net player revenue or a one-time signup bounty, and it
varies between brands. We are committed to never letting commission rates affect our
ranking decisions. Concrete examples of what that commitment looks like:
- Our review methodology was published before we joined any affiliate program. The methodology has not been edited since to favor any partner.
- Higher-commission brands do not appear higher on our rankings. Compare our top 10 against the per-brand commission rates published at affiliate marketing aggregators and you will see no correlation.
- We have declined to onboard several offshore brands whose payout records did not match their pitch, despite the affiliate commissions being attractive.
- When a brand we recommend lapses on payouts or fails a re-test, we remove it from our top 10 and publish a notice. This has happened twice since launch.
We are not perfect. No affiliate review site is. The honest framing is: we are paid by
the same brands we review. Our defense is methodological transparency — anyone can read
how we rank and audit the result.

Corrections & updates
We make mistakes. When we do, we want them fixed fast. If you spot factual error in a
review — a wrong payout time, an outdated bonus, a mislabeled license — email
[email protected] and Sandra will personally
review the change within five business days. Material corrections are timestamped on the
affected page.
What we do not cover
Around50 is not a sports betting review site. We do not cover daily fantasy sports,
in-state retail-only operators, or peer-to-peer poker that requires you to live in
New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Nevada or Delaware. We will publish a separate
sports betting hub in 2026.
